Welcome to the new site!

We have finally emerged from media hibernation with an all new website!

This new site will allow us to easily grow, change and keep you up to date as we push forward info on the games and apps that are currently under development. This means that despite the nature of secrecy surrounding The Spire, we aim to convert your interest into a community; driving anything that we develop from the input that people share with us via The Hub (forums) and our social media sites. Although we haven't been releasing regular updates, we have been working tremendously hard behind the scenes and are looking into some nice ways of showing progress and keeping in touch with you.

In addition to the UR site, we are aiming to have a fully dedicated site for The Spire at some point, with any and all of the sites that we have for our current projects linking though ...
The Next Generation

Our very own John Tearle gave a talk to over 70 young people from the West Midlands today whom are 'digital leaders' in their schools. Over the course of their visit to Birmingham Science Park Aston the digital leaders learnt about the possibilities of having a career in digital media and games development. Initiatives like this are hoping to get children and teenagers interested in the industry and that can only be a good thing for everyone.

Have a watch of the video in which in conjunction with iLX (also based as BSPA) John talks about what we do day to day and how we feel a career in the digital sector is within your reach.

61,653 votes down and less than 24 hours left to vote in this years Indie of the Year awards!

A big thank you to everyone who has voted for us and for all of the other great Indie titles. There have been some great games both released and still in development and we have seen some very nice media releases over the past month and it has been lovely to be part of the buzz in activity.

Today we released 3 wallpapers including one with a rather festive theme. This will probably be our last media update this year so we hope these wallpapers can bring your desktop a bit of festive cheer over the holiday period.

Since we released the Teaser Trailer on IndieDB last week we have had over 220,000 views which was pretty amazing, given that we haven't showed much gameplay as of yet. Thanks to everybody who has voted for us so far in the IOTY awards, if you have not there are still 4 days left in which to do so. We have been featured on a number of websites including Kotaku, Joystiq, DIY Gamer, Indie Games, 2Girls1Game, The Gaming Volt and Big Download.

There has been some great feedback and we have been reading as much as we can. After all if you don't listen to your audience you can't implement what they want in your game. Speaking of which, if you want to send us a message or ask a question then the best place is on our forums. We noticed some pretty common trends in the comments posted online and thought that it would be good to try and answer some ...
